#9 Dress Up Relay
Team work! Team Work! It’s all about the team work! And… kind of about the great photos and laughs you’ll get from playing this game.
The object of the game is to be the first team to get each team member dressed in the clothing once before any other team and sitting in a line for the win!
Divide your participants into teams of equal numbers. Get used clothes consisting of a minimum of 5 garments ( no more than eight items) for each team. Each team must have the same types of garments. (i.e. hat, jacket, pants, vest, tie and shoes.)
Put these items in a brown paper bag for each team. This way no one knows what the items of clothing will be ahead of any other team.
Line your teams up in single file lines all facing the same direction and place the clothes they need to put on a distance of 20 or more feet. (no more than 35 feet away.)
When the signal to start has been given the first team member will run to the designated dressing circle/line and remove the clothes from the bag and put them on. They must be completely dressed before leaving the dressing circle/line to return to his/her team where he/she will then remove the clothes and hand them to the next team member who will then run, with the clothes in hand to the dressing circle/line and repeat what the first team member did.
This action will continue until the last team member has completed the dressing process and returned to their team where they will be seated on the ground to indicate that they are finished and are indeed the winners.
I would love to hear from you on how your dress up relay went! Leave me a comment below! I look forward to hearing from you!!!
#8 MAKE YOUR OWN TWISTER GAME
You remember that “getting to know you” game we call twister? Yes, well, here is an opportunity to create your very own with a twist OR makes some adjustments to the one you already have!
You can make this as simple or as elaborate a game as you would like. You can use butcher paper, clear plastic, storage tarps or a refrigerator cardboard box. Whatever surface you choose to use is completely up to you.
You remember the Twister Spin Card that gives the instructions. Modify that little buddy a little bit and add just that much more excitement to the game. Add a “Bonus” slot or, you can make the game “Twister Extreme” and add a “Shuffle/Scramble” slot on the board to kick the game up a notch further! What do I mean? Ok, here is what I mean.
“Bonus” – You can move your hands and feet to colored circles that would be more comfortable, closer together. That way you are not all stretched out over the game mat.
“Shuffle/Scramble”– this means everyone switches up their position keeping the colors their hands and feet were on, just on other spots on the playing mat. This one is bound cause a dog pile if you aren’t careful.
I would love to hear from you and your crew tricked out your twister game. Please share your rules and how much your peeps enjoyed themselves! Leave me a comment below! I look forward to hearing from you!!!
